Triangle

The Triangle is another newer piercing and as women are taking control of their own enjoyment from the 1980’s this piercing has been one of the more commonly done female genital piercings, it is often coupled with the vertical clitoral hood so there is a piercing vertically above the clitoris and horizontally below it.

This piercing is placed behind the clitoris horizontally and aids the wearer by pushing the clitoris forward and enhancing sensation. It is placed in a ‘triangle’ of soft tissue between the clitoris and the urethra and has few nerves and so this area numbs well and it is a relatively painless piercing . Only a piercer with a good knowledge of anatomy should do this piercing.
